Make sure you submit a ‘decision ready’ partner visa application
Your application can take longer and may even be refused if documents are missing. Refer to our checklist to see you haven’t missed out on anything important.
Partner visa checklist:

Online application for Partner visa application through your ImmiAccount

Online sponsorship through your sponsor's ImmiAccount

Evidence in support of your relationship

Character checks for you, your sponsor and dependants over 18 years of age (valid for 12 months from the date of issue)

Health checks for you and your dependants

Evidence of relationship with dependants including custody orders, if applicable

Evidence of dependancy for dependants over 18 years of age
