Indian and Australian Prime Ministers agree a strategic partnership
New era in bilateral relations

In a meeting today between the India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Australia’s Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, it was agreed that the fast growing India-Australia relationship would be designated a Strategic Partnership.
